Would it be possible to have a facelift and nose surgery at the same time. And is there a cost saving?
Dr. Dean Kane Q & A
Q. Would it be possible to have a facelift and nose surgery at the same time. And is there a cost saving? I would like my nose to be made smaller and younger looking, a facelift with fat transfer, upper eyes and forehead lift.
A. It is not unusual to have a facelift and nose reshaping at the same time. Adding fat transfer, upper lids and forehead lift is a bit more than most patients have done but under the right circumstances is safe.
Yes, there is a cost savings as you will not need another anesthetic for the rhinoplasty but this is not the only consideration!
Be sure to review your concerns with your surgeon. Consider if he or she is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery or Facial ENT. How many combined operations to this extent has he done. What type of anesthesia. How long does he or she plan the surgery will take and will they have assistance, others performing the surgery, anesthesia provider, actions to reduce anesthesia risks of long surgery and many more issues.
I wish you the very best!
