Q. Have received advice from a dermatologist to wait as long as possible before facelift. Is there a benefit to waiting? Hello. I am 52 years old. I’m in good shape physically and maintain a good weight. In the last 3 years my chin angle turned into a box. I do not have a loose neck but jowls are forming and they truly bother me. Fillers have NOT helped. A friend who is a Dermatologist told me it is best to hold off as long as possible before a facelift and to do a full not mini when I do the surgery. Is there a benefit to wait? Am I a candidate now since it does bother me now.

You feel older because you look older. People around you respond to your appearance and your self-esteem generates a concern of when to begin the rejuvenation process.
