Plastic Surgeon Dr. Dean Kane of Baltimore Answers Question Regarding Restylane Duration

Q. How long does Restylane skin booster last before it naturally dissolves? How long will it take to naturally dissolve please.

A. Restylane is a hyaluronic acid (HA) gel. It is a volumizer of soft tissue which has thinned or atrophied. It generally lasts an average of a year in non-mobile (like the cheek) regions.  HA’s attract water, forming a “jello-like” expansion and is easy to dissolve with hyaluronidase enzyme if needed.

Sculptra, IS a booster, stimulating the dermal fibroblast to form HA’s, collagen, elastin and other skin structural molecules.
