Dr Kane injected the Juvederm Voluma with a blunt tip cannula after numbing my face with lidocaine. It did not hurt and I only had a little needle mark as a tell tale sign that I had something done. There was a little bit of swelling for a couple of days afterwards. A very good experience with a good result
