Q. Best options for my tired face? Any advice/help would be amazing. I’m getting married in 6 months & I look at my pictures and really do not like what I see and what to start a course of treatments but am unsure the best course of action as I have tried many things in the past – I prefer non surgical treatments and don’t really like the thought of Botox. I am considering having surgery for my eye area, but what to do about the rest of my face? I’ve tried IPL , face peels & micro needling, even around my mouth where I clench my teeth I’m starting to get lines.
A. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Thanks for sharing your photos too. The good news is you have time to overcome the swelling and bruising of non-surgical, minimally invasive and eyelid surgical facial enhancements.
Since I do not have the advantage to examine you, I hope you will be helped by the information below. My immediate recommendations are:
consultation with a talented, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with extensive skills in:
- non-surgical skin tightening using Obagi ZO Skin Health Rx regimen and chemical peels
- non-invasive brow balancing with Botox / Dysport
- lipocontouring or CoolSculpting of the cheeks, jowls and neck
- minimally invasive injectables including fillers and / or fat to the cheeks
- upper eyelid blepharoplasty
For longer term maintenance and improvement:
- Sculptra for facial firming
- ThermiTIGHT for skin tightening or neck and facelift
I hope this is helpful! All the best!
