Q. Does Coolsculpting work for reducing the size of my buttocks? I had a liposuction 2 years ago and the size of my buttocks is just too big. I went to the doctor who perform my surgery and he told me that cannot perform a liposuction to reduce the size of it because my buttocks was going to drop. I’m looking for options like CoolSculpting or any other technique to reduce the size of it .can you please help me!
A. Thanks for sharing your photo. Without a proper in-person examination it is tough to make a recommendation.
Generally, I would agree with your liposuction doctor. Liposuction of the buttocks may reduce the volume but that allows the tissues to sag. The advantages of CoolSculpting are a non-surgical reduction and in my experience, a firming of the thicker tissues like those of the lumbar and buttock areas.
Another option is to find a skilled and well experienced Sculptra Body injector. I have been very pleased with the results of skin firming of the thighs and buttocks with Sculptra. It even helps with dimples and cellulite!
Always use Board Certified Plastic Surgeons for proper examination and recommendations. I wish you the best!
