Can CoolSculpting work on the inner gluteal fold?

Dr. Dean Kane Q & A Q. Does wearing the head wrap help the swelling go down after the first 15 hours? I submitted my photo yesterday but wanted to be more consise. Can the fat bumps in my inner gluteus be reduced safely by CoolSculpting? The bumps are firm fat, not loose skin. I wonder if the cool-mini would work safely in that area. A. This is not the usual area for CoolSculpting (CS) but based on your photo, one in which a talented CS therapist will find a applicator to fit. You will get both a limited amount of fat loss and hopefully some shrinkage in skin (although the latter is NOT guaranteed). Another option which in the right talented hands maybe useful is the combination of ThermiTIGHT (TT) and ThermiSMOOTH (TS). TT is a minimally invasive procedure which can be performed under local anesthesia and typically requires only one session. TS will help shrink the skin and provide you a firmer butt. Depending on the amount of fat under these buttock folds, a skillful surgeon may add some minor lipocontouring and combine this with TT. All these possibilities should be considered when you consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with the Certifications and skills to use the above advanced techniques. I wish you the best!   This information is not meant as medical advice.
