On Thursday Night, February 9th, Dr. Dean Kane, Plastic Surgeon of Baltimore, Maryland, is having an art show of his (WORDS REMOVED) works in which the proceeds will benefit the Kane’s anchor charity , The Red Devils: Supporting Breast Cancer Families. The show will take place at his practice, The Center for Cosmetic Surgery and Medspa located at 1 Reservoir Circle, Suite 201, Pikesville, Maryland from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Dr. Dean Kane is celebrating 25 years of practicing plastic surgery in Baltimore, Maryland. Over the past 10 years he has developed a passionate hobby of creating multi-media Art that has become the décor of his office setting. (SENTENCE REMOVED). Hence his Art to Life and Life to Art show where his intrinsic ability for detail and precision come to life through his art.
Each piece of art work is unique. Dr. Kane combines his photography skills with computer graphic manipulation and prints his new art matrix onto photographic paper. He then applies layers and layers of carefully cut out designs creating a 3-dimensional version of the original photo. After artistically embellishing each layer with acrylic paint, he then applies lacquer to the art giving the illusion that it’s made of metal. His latest pieces, however, do incorporate copper and metal wires, further making the artwork a true textural, multi-media masterpiece. Dr. Kane focuses on creating art of cities, flowers, hearts, pets and human forms. His artwork can be seen on his website: www.DeanKaneArt.com. Dr. Kane’s work is edgy, vibrant, and whimsical.
To add excitement to the evening, Dr. Dean Kane’s art will be beautifully and tastefully body painted by the very talented Jen Seidel.
