Is Sculptra a good choice to do first, and then use Juvederm to improve/add to results?

Dr. Dean Kane Q & A Q. Is Sculptra a good choice to do first, and then use Juvederm to improve/add to results? I am particularly interested in under eye circles–the tear trough area. A. The use of Sculptra is a very advanced technique. While not typically used in the tear trough (nasojugal fold), I find it will firm and fill when used deep to the zygomaticus muscles (deep muscle) just over the bone. Due to its bio-stimulatory activity, I observe gentle tightening in the overlying cheek / lid skin as well. The process takes 3 to 6 months to see the improvement but does not have the side-effects typical to hyaluronic acid (HA) gel products You may wish to use Juvederm or the Restylane family of HA gels in this areas as well. I also use it when I wish to achieve immediate volume and / or projection results. Each of these products is very useful in different layers to achieve a range of smoothening, fill, projection and / or firming. It is best to consult with a very experienced, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, ENT Facial Surgeon or Dermatologist for evaluation and their recommendations.
