Q. I was filled with Restylane 2 weeks ago for under eye bags/tear troughs. If I was under-filled, will results that I do have last more than 3 months? Even though I’m under-filled I’m still happy with my result as its better than before. I can just still see the indentations of the tear trough. I had no bruising and minimal swelling, but the swelling I had left me with a perfect result the initial first days. I would like the results I do have to last until my upcoming wedding in 2 months and am nervous that they wont.

As each injector is unique in their approach, talent and skills to injecting fillers, each patient is unique in the longevity of the filler too. Generally, Restylane will last 6 to 8 months or more. The injection technique, location and depth of filler placement as well as the patient’s individual enzymatic breakdown of the filler molecule will determine the duration. There are other factors but suffice it to say you should be fine for the ceremony.
