A. ​The abdominal cavity, where the ovaries are located are separated from the subcutaneous skin and fat by a muscle and fascia layer. This allows for a safer procedure to be performed on the skin and fat of the outer tummy. ​ ​CoolSculpting (CS) will not affect the organs of the abdomen. ​ ​You may need to be concerned should a laparoscopy or laparotomy procedure be performed on the tummy to see, biopsy or remove the ovarian cyst.
